Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to travelers who use Inter-American Group, Inc. (IAG) to guide them in the process of obtaining visa, passport, ETA, or other international documents.

Your acknowledgement of the terms and conditions signifies that you understand and agree to the following:
Embassies/Consulates/US Passport Agency officials may request additional documentation at their discretion and in declining issuance of travel documents may not disclose the reason for denial of a passport/visa. IAG cannot be held responsible for delays in processing due to incomplete, inaccurate, or missing documentation including, but not limited to: missing or incorrect proof of identity, proof of U.S. Citizenship, Legal Residency of United States, proof of travel, missing photographs, or incorrect passport execution fees.

Requirements for travel documents are established by Sovereign nations and are subject to change without notice. IAG cannot guarantee that the information supplied is the most current and complete.

Processing time for visas and passports quoted by IAG are approximations based on our experience with Embassies, Consulates, and US Passport Agency in usual circumstances. IAG is not and shall not be responsible for processing times. IAG cannot be held responsible for the actions and/or decisions made by the Consulates or U.S. Passport Agency.

Should your application be rejected for whatever reason, you bear the cost of return shipment of your documents and all expediting fees are non-refundable: No exceptions. Compensation is not available. If your application is placed on hold requiring an appointment with a supervisor, there will be an automatic $75 fee per appointment.

If we do not receive your application documents within 90 days of the date of purchase, there will be no refund. That amount will remain as credit for use on any future services.

If you: 1. Owe Child Support (in arrears), 2. Are wanted for arrest, 3. Are currently serving probation, 4. Are under order to appear in court (subpoena), 5. Are wanted for extradition, 6.- or you do not comply with any additional requests from the U.S. Department of State, your passport application will be denied and any monies you have paid to have your passport application expedited will be forfeited.

IAG will not be responsible for loss or delay caused by events that we cannot control, including, but not limited to: weather conditions, acts of public enemies, war, strikes, civil commotions, or acts or omissions of public authorities (including passport and embassy consular officials) with actual or apparent authority. IAG is not responsible for any documents inadvertently held or lost by embassies/consulates or US Government Agencies. Should this occur, which is highly unlikely, we will work to recover the documents from the agency or consulate. IAG makes no other warranties, expressed or implied. In no event will IAG be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Further, IAG's total liability with respect to each passport application shall be limited to the amount of the IAG's service fee paid by you. IAG's liability for all loss or damaged from any cause or fault whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of or damage to a passport during the course of visa or passport processing, is limited to the actual replacement cost of the passport or $150.00.

Completed services are sent out by FedEx, UPS, airline package services and are subject to the conditions set by these companies. IAG will not be held liable for any delays caused by FedEx or any other type of courier/delivery service used to ship your documents to and from our office. Non-refundable tickets should not be purchased until all travel documents are in your possession.

When you receive your completed passport and other documents, it is important that you immediately verify that all visas you require for your trip have been obtained, that the visas for each country you intend to visit are valid for the dates of your visit, and that your passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the completion of your trip.


  • Same/next day passport applications must arrive in our office by 8:30am (as per our instructions, you should ship your documents FedEx First Overnight, with No Direct Signature Required). If your documents arrive past the 8:30 am deadline, we will not be able to process your passport that day and your appointment will have to be moved to the next available business day. There will be NO REFUNDS if your passport application arrives past our deadline and cannot be processed that day.
  • For all other types of passport/visa services: your documents must be in our office by 10:30 am to be eligible for processing that day. Any document that arrives past that deadline will have to be held in our office until the next available business day to be submitted.


  • For same/next day passport services: If you need to cancel your appointment you must send a cancellation email to customerservice@passportdocs.com by closing hours (4:00 pm E/T) of the day prior to the appointment to be eligible for a 50% refund of the service fee. If you wish to move your appointment to another day (after the 4:00 pm deadline stated above) there will be a $50 fee. There will be no refund in the case your documents are received at our offices, or your application is denied by a Government entity.
  • For all other types of passport/visa services: In the case you decide to cancel IAG's expedite services, prior to having sent your paperwork to our offices, there will be a cancellation fee; you will receive a partial refund of 50% from the total amount charged for IAG's services. In order to receive your refund, you must send a cancellation email to customerservice@passportdocs.com . There will be no refund in the case your documents are received at our offices, or your application is denied by a Government entity.
